„Inflaming the past“
Argus Books & Magazines, Beograd 2016. 225 pages
T he book „INFLAMING THE PAST“ is conceived as an intervention that will remove the spasm of passion with which we experience our own past.
As an expert in determining the credibility of intelligence materials (half-truths and incendiary untruths with which foreign intelligence services tried to frustrate our former diplomacy), the author tried to apply the same methodology to evaluate various versions of our national history.
„INFLAMING THE PAST“ is a literary attempt that discloses reasons why the truth is being styled and what are the political goals of those who manipulate the past.
The book is written in a witty, narrative style that makes it an interesting and accessible read. „INFLAMING THE PAST“ is an attempt to parry the intentions of newfangled "patriotic" journalism, that tries to mesmerize the general public.
